Although this salad kit has a lot of additions, the chipotle seitan, corn and bean salsa, ranch dressing, tortilla strips and cheese, I found it to be quite expensive for what you actually get. I paid $5.49 for this kit and compared to the large Super 7 Sweet Kale Salad Kit for $6.49, it seems very small.
Costco Chicken Salad Insanely Good
I bought the 24 ounce salad kit for $7.99 which works out to a cost of $5.34 per pound. My first impression was that paying over $5 per pound for a salad seemed a bit much. I checked over at GiantFoods and saw that they offer an 11 ounce bag of Mediterranean salad from Taylor Farms for $3.99 which works out to a cost of $5.80 per pound.
